An ivory doctor's lady and various works of art
Late 19th Century
The reclining lady carved with one arm supporting her head, the other positioned under her left breast, 23.5 cm. long, wood stand; a horn oval seal, the top carved as a phoenix, 12 cm. high; a Japanese bronze vase, the sides cast in relief as upright leaves, dark and rusty brown splashed patina, 30.5 cm. high; and a Japanese lacquer cover, decorated in relief in gilt and black and inlaid in mother-of-pearl with a rider on horse following a path, some wear, 49 cm. x 51.4 cm.
