An ivory netsuke of Fukurokuju
school oof Hidemasa, 19th Century
carved standing wearing long flowing robes with one arm raised and the other holding a box full of peas, incised signature to the box -- 1 7/8in. (4.7cm.) high; and another ivory netsuke of two men sitting and one woman standing around a small table, incised signature of Ryukoku to the underside -- 1¼in. (3.1cm.) wide, (minor wear).
