A wood netsuke of three rats
incised signature on a mother of pearl tablet of Rakumin, 19th Century
one of them carrying the head of a fish with open mouth, its inset eyes with lacquered pupils -- 1½in. (3.8cm.) long; and a wood netsuke of Daruma, the grimacing figure wrapped in his robes, a coin section to the reverse, himotoshi with ivory mount, incised signature of Miwa -- 1½in. (3.2cm.) high.
