An ivory and lacquer inlaid panel
Meiji period
decorated in ivory and mother-of-pearl with a warrior wearing robes and armour incised with geometric designs, carrying various weapons and a fan, inset ivory sealmark to the side, on a blue lacquer ground within a further dense nashiji border -- 29¼in. (74.3cm.) high, (minor damages).
