painted in sumi, gofun, colour and gilt on paper with a central fan shaped panel of ladies and gentlemen seated in an interior overlooking a riverside garden, on a ground of scattered leaves and blossom -- 8½in. x 11 7/8in. (21.5cms x 30.2cms), inscribed 'Sumiyoshi hogen Jokei Hiromichi hitsu, Hirohisa sho'.
