The rare rectangular slab-potted body decorated in iron-red, yellow, green, black and aubergine enamels and gilt, two panels with diagonal bands of colour, the other two with a butterfly among thistles, the handle modelled as fungus, slight restoration to the spout and a hairline crack to the top
