Leaning slightly backwards with a low, rectangular basket held in both hands and filled with lilies, chrysanthemums and other plants, a tobacco-pouch and pipe at his waist, wearing typical countryman's dress of the late Edo period including gaiters and straw sandals, his hair dressed in traditional style, unsigned, some old damage and cracks
