Fifth separate edition of 'the first printed book on toxicology' (Garrison-Morton), and a wide-ranging treatment of the subject, covering (among much else) arsenic and hemlock, opium and other narcotics, the venom of snakes, spiders and scorpions, and more exotic poisons such as coriander juice. The range of antidotes is more limited, including classical remedies such as bezoar stone. It first appeared together with Petrus's Conciliator at Mantua in 1472, and went through at least nine 15th-century editions.
