Four Celtic 19th century plaid brooches
comprising: a thistle garland set with a large central citrine bordered by four faceted amethyst thistle heads and curled leaves, fittings altered; a chased thistle garland disc, Edinburgh 1838, maker AGW; a curved disc engraved with crown, heart, birds and flowers, marked for Hamburg F.C.G.; and a ring engraved with celtic strapwork, centre fittings removed.
