Of tapering from, with richly gilt scroll handles with hounds' head masks to the lower terminals, painted with a continuous frieze of figures before a castle and ruins in landscape between gilt bands and matt buff-coloured sections reserved with bands of white beading, on a gilt square foot with canted corners
