A Davenport circular box and screw-top cover
Circa 1820, printed anchor and banner mark in brown to the inside of the cover
The cover painted with a flower-spray within a gilt circular cartouche, the border and the edge of the base enamelled with 'jewels' within joined gilt lobed bands on a dark-blue ground, the underside of the box gilt with a tooled gilt roundel below a gilt band
3¾in. (9.5cm.) diam.
