A RARE 18ct. GOLD COMBINED PETROL LIGHTER AND WATCH
signed Dunhill, Switzerland, 1927.
15-jewel nickel finished movement adjusted to three positions, oval gilt dial with Arabic numerals, blued steel hands, apron shaped case with hinged extinguishing arm, the front engraved with the initials F.C., the back engraved with a boar's head crest, dial, movement and case signed, 50mm high.

Lot Essay
This lighter watch belonged to Flora Campbell, wife of Hugh Campbell who was the great-nephew of Prime Minister Sir Henry Campbell-Banneman. The boar's head crest is that of the Campbell-Banneman family.
