Lot Essay

Sold with Omega leather covered presentation case, card slip cover, Certificate of Authenticity and operating instructions from Asprey, London.

The Omega Central Tourbillon wristwatch was created in 1994 in celebration of the brand's 100th anniversary (1894-1994). Production is limited to 20 pieces per year although it is thought that actual production has been far less. The Omega Central Tourbillon features a self-winding calibre movement which was of totally new design. Because of the layout of the gearing the normal crown is only for supplementing the winding, the hand setting is from the back. This watch has a power reserve of 45 hours.
