A 19th century gold and silver set diamond and gem brooch,
modelled as two flowers, one with pearl the other turquoise single stone centre, with rose-cut diamond petal surround, connected by demantoid garnet stems, with detachable insects comprising: a butterfly set with diamonds, rose-cut diamonds, turquoise, opal and ruby; a bee set with rose-cut diamonds and ruby eyes; and a rose-cut diamond fly with ruby eyes.
