A pair of William IV silver entrée-dishes and covers with plated liners and stands
Mark of Paul Storr, London, 1836
Each entrée-dish shaped square, with incurved angles, foliage-wrapped reeded borders and shell handles, the slightly domed covers each with similar border to underside, and twisted foliate handle, the plated stands of conforming shape on four foliate scroll feet, with pierced sides, and circular lamp, with plain plated liners, the covers each engraved with a coat-of-arms, the entrée-dishes each with two crests below a coronet, marked on reverse of entrée-dishes, side of covers, and on finials, the dishes each also stamped 134, the covers stamped 1 and 2

The arms are those of McDonnell quatering Kerr and others, impaling Parker, for Hugh, 4th Earl of Antrim (1812-1855) and his wife Lady Laura (d.1883), daughter of Thomas, 5th Earl of Macclesfield (1763-1850), who he married in 1836. (2)
