Mark of George Angell, London, 1860
Shaped circular, on three scroll bracket feet, with cast double scroll and cartouche border, engraved with a wide band of foliate scrolls and lozenges, the centre engraved with a coat of arms, marked on reverse

The arms are those of Hanbury quartering another with Trotter quartering Moubray, for George Hanbury Esq. (1829-1912), of Blythewood, Buckinghamshire, and his wife Mary (d.1906), daughter of John Trotter Esq. (1808-1870) of Dyrham Park, Hertfordshire, whom he married in 1857. George Hanbury was a Justice of the Peace and was High Sheriff of Buckinghamshire in 1875.
