Each fluted shaped circular and with gadrooned shell and foliate scroll rim, with turned wood base and central plain print engarved with a crest, the sides additionally engraved with the initials MCD, marked on base-rims

The crest is that of Cottrell for Margaret Cottrell-Dormer, second wife and widow of Sir Clement Cottrell-Dormer Kt. of Rousham House (d.1808). (6)
