Vase-shaped and on fluted spreading circular foot, the partly fluted body with beaded band and egg-and-dart rim, with two scroll and foliage bracket handles, the body engraved twice with a coat-of-arms with earl's coronet above, marked on side

The arms are those of Annesley for either George, 2nd and last Earl of Mountnorris F.R.S., F.S.A. (1769-1844) or for Richard, 2nd Earl Annesley (1745-1824).
