Plain circular and on four bracket feet, with beaded border, the centre engraved with a coat-of-arms within rococo shell and foliage cartouche, marked on reverse

The arms are those of Cottrell for Sir Charles Cottrell-Dormer Kt. (d.1779), of Rousham House, co. Oxford, Master of Ceremonies to Kings George II and III.
