Compressed spherical, the baluster shaped turned wood handle with reeded mount, the conforming cover with moulded border and reeded ring handle, the body engraved with a coat of arms within foliate cartouche and shell mantling, the cover engraved with a crest, fully marked on base, with Britannia standard mark inside cover and maker's mark on cover bezel, the base also engraved with scratchweight 16 6 0
