Maker's mark poorly stuck, Augsburg, apparently 17th century
the silver-gilt shell form body decorated with fruit and scrolls within strapwork, applied with a finial modelled as a cupid playing an instrument, supported on a figural stem with a turtle motif base - 21.4cm. (8 3/8in.) high, 11oz.
