Tasting note: Deep red-brick, with fine, sweetly spicey nose. Full and round, with a touch of firmness sill (tasted November 2000). This lacks the exceptional fruit intensity which the decade of the 1990s was to bring to this Domaine's great wines, yet the middle palate is soft and well-balanced, the finish spicey and complex.
