AN EXCELLENT COLLECTION OF TUSCAN WINES OF THE SUPERB 1997 VINTAGE
The 1997 vintage in Tuscany has been heralded as "the vintage of the century". Certainly, it was the finest vintage since 1985. We are delighted to offer this collection of "super-Tuscans" and Chianti, which contains many of the great wines of this vintage.
Highlights include Solaia, widely-regarded as the finest ever produced, great wines from Fattoria San Giusto a Rentennano, including Pecarlo and La Recolma (the latter being rarely seen outside of Tuscany due to its tiny production) and the superb Cortaccio and San Martino from Villa Cafaggio
All the wines were purchased directly from the producers and remained in excellent cellarage before being shipped for sale
