with pink mohair, clear and black glass eyes with painted backs, brown stitched nose and mouth, jointed limbs with felt pads, hump and musical mechanism activated by rocking head back and forwards --20in. (51cm.) high, circa 1929 (very worn, missing ears and colour faded)

This bear was originally the lifetime companion of an eminent woman eye surgeon, who lived in Holborn, London.
