A Nepalese gilt bronze and painted figure of Kalachakra
20th century
striding in pratyalidhasana together with his consort in yabyum over two prostrated figures on a double lotus base, his twenty four arms radiating around him holding attributes, his principal arms crossed behind her back holding the vajra and ghanta, his four faces surmounted by an elaborate headdress, his blue-painted hair tied in a chignon -- 15¼in. (38.8cm.) high (small area of repair to reverse).
