the crouching beast with its head turned to one side, carved holding a trailing flowerspray in its mouth coiling around the flattened upper surface -- 3½in. (8.9cm.) long; and a celadon, brown and black jade carving of a stylised fish, with incised eye, a prunus spray issuing from its pierced mouth -- 3 5/8in. (9.2cm.) long.
