A pair of Cantonese candlesticks

of cylindrical form with everted necks and widely spreading bases, painted and gilt with alternating panels of figures on terraces and birds and butterflies amongst flowers, all on green, gold scroll grounds -- 7¾in. (19.7cm.) high; a candleholder and snuffer; an oval dish, cover and stand; a facetted jug; and a sauce boat, all similarly decorated -- the jug 5in. (12.7cm.) high, (minor damages).
