An ivory brise fan painted with a reclining woman receiving a hero amidst ruins, possibly Anthony and Cleopatra, in a shaped cartouche flanked by shaped, gold-bordered, black panels on a blue-grey ground, the verso with a trophy comprising a helmet, sword and shield - 7 ½in. (19cm), late 19th century, with glazed, fan-shaped case
