A fine crazy patchwork coverlet, pieced from coloured silks and satins, heavily embroidered with a variety of motifs, including sheaves od corn, butterflies, floral posies and with the central date 1888--70 x 58in. (180 x 148cm.), backed in raspberry satin; and an 'Ocean Wave' patchwork quilt pieced from squares and triangles of white, red and black cotton printed with tiny sprigs--80in.
