A Meissen flower-encrusted teacup and saucer
Mid 18th century, blue crossed swords marks, Pressnummer 11 to teacup and 63 to saucer
Each applied to the exterior with leafy branches and blossom, the exterior of the teacup painted with butterflies and insects amongst fruiting branches, the interior painted with a caterpillar on a red apple and two radishes, the interior of the saucer painted with a butterfly, and insects including a ladybird, and ant, a moth and a caterpillar and a branch with two apples, gilt line rims (small chips to applied flowers, rubbing to gilding and light wear to enamels)
