A POLYCHROME-DECORATED AND GOLD-GROUND LEATHER EIGHT-LEAF SCREEN
Second half 18th Century, in the Kangxi style, Dutch
Decorated in the Chinese style, with a central scene of a garden with pavilions, birds and figures strolling around, with a border of shaped panels of vases of flowers and baskets of fruit, the reverse with simple foliate-decorated rectangular panels, relaid onto a canvas backing and probably reframed
Each leaf: 108¼ x 21¾ in. (275 x 55.5 cm.)
