Tapering flattened rectangular bloodstone case with waisted sides divided by reeded gold mounts, slightly domed top and flat base, reeded outer gold cagework mounts, hinge at the short end, spinel-set pushpiece, foliate gold hook at top, the inside fitted with steel scissors with gold handles, two-leaved tablets with gold rivet, a gold folding knife with bloodstone-set handle, a gold ear-spoon with ear pick at the other end, gold tweezers with ear pick at the other end, a gold pencil holder, and a gold bodkin
