Large rectangular box, the burnished gold cover, four sides and base finely chased in four-colour gold with scènes champêtres on a sunburst ground, framed by fluted c-scrolls, the lid depicting a scene of a harvesting boy and his spaniel surprising lovers in the hay, the base with a harvester discovering a sleeping beauty with her sleeping dog, the front side with another sleeping beauty holding the lead of her impatient dog, the three other sides with birds in bushes
