Flattened rectangular white enamelled copper box in the shape of an envelope, convex sides and slightly raised cover, the hinged cover painted with the inscription 'To Priscilla Pitts London', the base painted with a purple coloured seal depicting the profile of a bearded gentleman wearing a cap, the gilt-metal mounts engraved with wavy reeding, with pierced ropetwist thumbpiece
