Contemporary mottled calf. (Rubbed and scuffed, head and foot of spine eroded). Provenance: DAVID GARRICK (bookplate). A pencil note on the front free endpaper reads, "Large and thick paper ... Garrick was one of the subscribers to the large paper issue ..." According to the list of the subscribers, this copy is one of those printed on "superfine Paper."
