With nickel-finished jewelled lever movement, the silvered dial with applied baton numerals, sweep center seconds, date aperture, the tonneau-shaped water-resistant bubble back type case with screw back, coin edge bezel, screw down crown to the left side of the case, together with a gilt Rolex buckle, case, dial and movement signed

Lot Essay

Production of this model, reference 4467, was launched in 1945. It was the first Datejust model introduced and was initially only produced in 18K gold.

Rolex produced many models that were designed as left-handed wristwatches, however reference 4467 rarely seen with the winding crown to the left.
