on pience 1838 (May) front and part back from Marseilles to Madras, showing very rare oval-framed "Care of/Mr Waghorn/Alexandria" h.s. in red (Type 6) with another large part strike on reverse, despatch c.d.s. in black and, on reverse, Bombay transit marking.
