signed on the back plate DOLLOND LONDON, the 62in. (157cm.) long body tube with objective lens dust cap and rack and pinion focusing, mounted via a compass joint to a tapering brass pillar, with two eye pieces, in the original fitted mahogany carrying case, the inside of the lid with a fine trade label for G. DOLLAND, Optical, Mathematical and Philosophical Instruments Maker, TO HER MAJESTY, 59, St Paul's Church Yard, London., the case with two large brass hooks and eyes -- 65¾in. (167.3cm.) long; together the original brass and mahogany tripod in its own fitted mahogany carrying case with two brass hooks and eyes and two carrying handles -- 70 7/8in. (180cm.) long
