A well presented model of a single cylinder 'A' frame rotative beam pumping engine,
with cylinder 3/4in. bore x 2in. stroke, draincock, inward facing centrally mounted valve chest, simple parallel motion with barrelled radius and anchor links, cast beam mounted in brass bearings, rod operated floor mounted feed pump, barrelled fluted connecting rod with gibbed and cottered big end, pierced lift-off eccentric rod, gear driven governor, linkage and valve and cast spoked flywheel. Further details include underfloor framing, hand rails, steps and water tank finished in green, red, black and polished brightwork, the whole mounted on a wood base --13½ x 15¼in. (34.3 x 38.8cm.)
