A late 19th-Century single cylinder ferrous metal and brass model of a single cylinder horizontal mill engine,
with wood lagged brass cylinder 2in. bore x 2in. stroke, cylinder head draincock, overmounted valve chest and regulator valve, studded stuffing box, pedestal mounted bar-type crosshead guide, barrelled connecting rod, gibbed and cottered big end, brass trunnions, curved spoked flywheel, cast bed and wood plinth, finished in maroon and polished brightwork -- 10 x 25in. (25.5 x 63.5cm.)
