Lightly sign of seepage. Bin-soiled and stained label. Level upper/top-shoulder. Deep colour
Tasting note: normally, and at best, a deepish glowing amber gold with touch of orange (never as deep as the '29 or '21); perfect bouquet (how can one put perfection into words ?); honeyed, fragrant, orange blossom, gushing forth an endless succession of scents from seemingly immeasurable depths. On the palate sweet, full-bodied, rich, concentrated, ambrosial barley-sugar, wonderful length, acidity, aftertaste. Most recently a magnum: an explosive bouquet and almost exaggerated flavour. M.B.
