A Royal Crown Derby two-handled oviform vase and cover
Year cyphers for 1902, printed iron-red marks, the vase incised 1005.
Painted by Robert Barratt with a spray of flowers within a dark-blue ground oval cartouche with gilt dash ornament, signed with initials, reserved on a blue marbled ground and flanked by dark-blue oval panels within turquoise-ground bands, edged with seeded gilding, the lower ivory-ground part moulded with a band of stiff leaves enriched in gilt, the gadrooned spreading foot with blue marbled ornament (minor rubbing to gilding)
