Year cyphers for 1914, printed crowned interlaced D marks in iron-red, gilt numerals 8421/1530
Each painted by Albert Gregory with trailing flowers, signed, the reverse with a similar spray, enclosed by seeded gilt scrolling leaves and husk swags above diaper-pattern panels, the necks fluted below a flaring waved rim, the pierced scroll handles richly gilt (some restoration)
