Modelled as a bacchic putto, his head garlanded with fruiting vines and ivy, wearing a pelt, a satchel over his left shoulder and holding pipes and a cymbol in his left hand, on circular base moulded with rockwork and leaves and flowerheads and mottled in a green and brown glaze, with replacement gilt-metal shallow basket (basket a replacement, some stained glaze crazing and slight cracks to each foot)
