The shallow oval bowl painted with a couple and musician in a landscape within an oval gilt cartouche issuing leaves and foliage, the reverse with a river landscape in a gilt fretted oval cartouche, the interior painted with a spray of flowers, on a domed foot, the rim applied with a pierced gilt-metal gallery and a handle with female head terminal and husk swags, terminating in a leaf-cast lower-section, the foot supported by a berried laurel ring on a square foot with canted corners
