A large Dresden flower-encrusted oval mirror frame
Circa 1860, blue crossed swords marks and initials
Surmounted by an oval portrait plaque painted with an eighteenth century beauty from the French court, quarter-length, the oval panel moulded to simulate jewels, below a garlanded quiver, between loosely-draped putti, the lower part moulded with an oval panel painted with agricultural devices among flowers, below beading, husk ornament and feuilles-de-choux and foliage, the frame flower-encrusted between pale-blue bands of beads (some minor damages)
