A Meissen yellow-ground topographical pen stand, pounce pot and well and cover
Circa 1880, blue crossed swords marks, the tray incised Y.98, the pounce pot and ink well with gilt nummersl 10
The shaped rectangular tray painted with a view of Pillnitz, titled in black script to the reverse, within a gilt scroll quatrefoil cartouche, the border with lesser panels of flowers and pendant gilt scrolls, moulded with tow wells painted with flowers, the ponce pot and ink well and cover of lobed compressed baluster form, painted with views of Tharand and Priesnitz, titled in black script (the tray with damage and restoration to the left hand side, the finial of the ink well cover re-stuck, some rubbing to gilding)
The stand 10½ in. (26.7 cm.) wide
