Circa 1880, blue crossed swords marks, incised C.124. and C128, Pressnummern 70
Emblematic of Summer and Winter from a set of the Seasons, Summer modelled with two scantilly-clad putti, one with a sheaf of corn held in her arm, the other with a basket of flowers resting on her knee, Winter modelled with two putti, one wearing a fur-lined puce cape and warming his hands on a flaming brazier, the other scantilly-clad and holding a goblet, the scroll-moulded candlesticks applied with flowering branches, on shaped square bases painted with sprays of flowers and moulded and gilt with scrolls (some restoration and minor damages)
