Circa 1880, blue crossed swords mark, incised F, Pressnummer 74, painter's black 49. mark to footrim
After an original by M.V. Acier, known as 'Lessons in Love', with Cupid leafing through an open book on a festooned marble plinth, a lady in a macaroni wig and claret coat and flowered dress behind him, amongst five figures of women and children on a rocky mound base (some losses and minor damages, extending crack to base)
