Circa 1880, blue crossed swords and cancellation mark, incised 330, Pressnummern 40, the decoration outside the factory
Of baluster form, the body modelled in high relief with a stag and boar-hunt scene, the handles formed as trees issuing from the rocky lower part, the waisted neck with spiral pink gadroons alternating with turquoise gadroons below a moulded gilt rim, the hunting trophy on the reverse with a hunting horn, a musket, satchel and powder-flask hung from an antler, the cover modelled with Diana scantily draped and holding her bow, seated on a tree-stump with a quiver slung from a branch, a hound at her side and game at her feet (damages and restorations, cover with Diana's right hand lacking, vase with large firing crack to reverse)
